Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy explains how The Aksis collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use theaksis.com. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
The Aksis is the solo artist project of Anna Kuprienko, operated through LCUK Ltd (registered in England and Wales). For any data protection enquiry, contact lenka@lcuk.ltd.
What we collect and why
Contact form
When you fill in the booking and press enquiry form we collect your name, email, and message. These are processed through Web3Forms and delivered to our email inbox. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry). We retain enquiries for up to 24 months.
Email subscription
When you subscribe to updates we collect your email address and process it through MailerLite. Lawful basis: consent, which you give by submitting the subscribe form. We add you to our mailing list straight away and send you a welcome email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and we do not pass your address to anyone else.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms
When you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram (for example to join the mailing list or enter a competition) we receive the details you chose to share with that form, typically your name, email address, and, where the form asks for it, your phone number. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd collects these on our behalf and we download them into MailerLite, where they are treated exactly like any other subscription. Lawful basis: consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Meta also processes the submission under its own privacy policy; leads remain available in our Meta account for up to 90 days, after which Meta deletes them.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamp, for security and abuse prevention. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
Cookies and embedded content
This site sets one first-party cookie, aksis_consent, to remember your choice regarding optional cookies. This cookie is essential and does not require consent.
With your consent, we load embedded content and the Meta (Facebook) pixel from third-party providers, which may set their own cookies in your browser. The Meta pixel measures how our ads perform and lets us show updates to people likely to be interested; it does not load at all unless you accept optional cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
